Democrats claim not to increase power while exploring Gerindra

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Democratic Party Vice President Syarief Hasan says his party is not targeting power by deciding to explore the coalition with Gerindra, PKS and PAN before the 2019 presidential election

"We do not think that power, whether it's the president or the vice president, is the most important," Syarief told the Gran Melia Hotel, Jakarta, Monday night (30/7).

Syarief said that Democrats are eager to explore the coalition with Gerindra because he has the same vision and the same mission.

He baderted that Prabowo's opinion in the construction of Indonesia has improved with what the Democrats thought. That it is the problem to be solved and the solution to adopt.

Syarief also revealed small members of the team who were trained to finalize the coalition with Gerindra, PKS and PAN. They are Secretary General Hinca Panjaitan, Chairman of the Honorary Council of Amir Syamsuddin, Pramono Edhie Prabowo and son of SBY Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono.
