TRIBUNMANADO.CO.ID, MANADO – Dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) is one of the dangerous diseases that can attack people anytime and anywhere.

Therefore, the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS) pays attention to this single disease.

"All diseases are the responsibility of BPJS Kesehatan, including dengue," said Ivana Umboh, head of the Human Resources and Public Communication Division of BPJS Manado, Tuesday (11/27).

He added that, from initial treatment and during hospital treatment, drugs administered during treatment were also under the responsibility of BPJS Health.

"Unless those who have actually joined government programs are not really responsible, we are all responsible," he said.

Including, according to him, during the first blood test performed by the patient.

"If the doctor initially speaks of a blood test, it will be supported," he explained.

Most importantly, patients must be active members of BPJS Kesehatan in order to obtain services that meet service standards. (AMG)
