TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The group of judges of the election monitoring body (Bawaslu) of DKI Jakarta decided that the installation of campaign props in the form of videotron advertisements of the candidate for the vice presidency Number 01, Joko Widodo aka Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin constituted an election violation. The judge's president, Puadi, said the advertisement included violations of the election campaign because it was in a forbidden place.
"The installation of a videotron campaign accessory containing the pair of candidates number 01 constitutes a violation by the election administration of administrative procedures and mechanisms for the implementation of elections," said M Puadi at the office of DKI Jakarta Bawaslu, Friday, October 26, 2018.

Puadi said that there were four vidotron ad impressions that violated the rules on the location of campaign props. The four sites are videotronic on Jalan MH Thamrin, central Jakarta; Taman Tugu Tani, Central Jakarta; Jalan Menteng Raya, Central Jakarta; and Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, in central Jakarta.
Places whose installation with campaign props is prohibited are included in the decree of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Electoral Commission regarding the place of installation of the campaign props of the province of DKI Jakarta at the time of the 39th election of 2019.

The Bawaslu judges ordered DKI Jakarta's one-stop-shop and integrated services to ask the owners of videotrons not to broadcast the campaign numbers of the 01-pair candidates. They also urged the owners of videotrons not to not post campaign materials again in forbidden places.
This case was reported by a resident, Sahroni. In the report submitted on 9 October, it was alleged that Jokowi-Ma 'ruf had conducted a videotron campaign in locations not in accordance with the KPU campaign campaign provisions. According to Puadi, the reporter from the Jokowi – Ma 'ruf team was also served advertising for the title of the Asian Games, which was broadcast on several videotrons.
