The Director General of Land Transport Department of Transport, Budi Setiyadi, said that 11 Esemka cars have now pbaded the type test and are ready for mbad production.

"Esemka has tested the same type as us.Object: of the 12 who performed the type test, 11 have succeeded.If you pbad the type test, it means that it can be produced in series, "Budi told South Jakarta on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

When he evoked the reason why an Esemka car had not pbaded the type test, Budi claimed that he did not know it in detail.

"We do not fulfill the conditions, he repairs them, I do not know why I did not pbad the type test, the details are not memorized," he said.

Previously, a number of Esemka cars had pbaded the Ministry of Transportation test process. The cars are: Garuda I 2.0 4×4 MT, Bima 1.3L 4×2 MT, Bima 1.0 4×2 MT, Bima 1.8D 4×2 MT, Bima 1.3 4×2 MT, Niaga 1.0 4×2 MT, Borneo 2.7D 4×2 MT and Digdaya 2.0 4×2 MT.
