JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government inaugurated the BBM One Price Cbad Institution as a compact gas station in Yaosakor village, Siret district, Asmat Regency, Papua province.
Thus, the government program to generalize fuel prices in remote areas is becoming more and more widespread. There is currently a BBM distributor at a price in Asmat, but it is located very far from the district of Siret.

Previously, the Siret District community purchased BBM from retailers for IDR 50,000 per person. With the presence of these service stations, the local community can only purchase fuel at a price of IDR 6,450 per liter for the premium and IDR 5,150 per liter for diesel, as determined by the Government.

The inauguration of the compact petrol station was carried out in collaboration with the members of the National Council of Stakeholders (AUPK DEN), Rinaldy Dalimi, Deputy Senior Expert at Bureau IV of the General Staff (KSP), Ali Mochtar Ngabalin, deputy director of RF Pertamina (Persero), Fernando Ginting, and Regent Asmat Elisa Kambu. The ranks of the TNI, Polri and community leaders of the Asmat Regency also attended the event.
On the same occasion, the chief expert of President Ali Mochtar Ngabalin's cabinet pointed out that President Joko Widodo was still monitoring the progress of the One Price BBM program, which was to proceed according to the predetermined plan.
This program aims to encourage economic growth so that people become more prosperous.
"The government continues to follow the evolution of the One Price BBM program in accordance with the plan, and previously hard-to-reach areas that were to purchase high-priced fuel can now enjoy the same fuel prices as in urban areas.

Ali hopes that the existence of this service station will support the progress of the transportation sector and the economic growth of Asmat. He added that the government is targeting 130 institutions to deliver another fuel that will be operational by the end of 2018.
Asmat Regent Elisa Kambu said that thanks to the presence of fuel stations selling fuel at prices set by the government, this could improve and improve the welfare of the local community.
"The residents of Siret are very grateful for the presence of service stations here, allowing them to consume high quality fuel at a price of Rs 6,450 per liter and a diesel fuel of Rs 5,150 per liter. it will alleviate the burden of people who have had trouble buying fuel, "said Elisa.

The inaugurated compact gas station has a storage capacity of 20 kilo liters (KL) for Premium and 20 KL for solar energy. The tool used to distribute fuel to the community is canting (manual).
Meanwhile, fuel is flown from the Merauke fuel terminal, which is 459 nautical miles or more than 850 km long, with a 3-day trip on the river.
The total monthly fuel allocation for the own Siret Compact service station is 120 KL, ie 80 KL Premium and 40 KL Solar.
