Google Play generates more than two downloads from the iOS App Store

In Indonesia, the average Android user installs 62 apps and uses 33 apps per month.

This fact placed Indonesia in 10th place among the 11 countries selected in this survey.

Australia, with 103 apps installed and 39 used actively per month (page 10), is leading the survey.

From January 2012 to August 2018, Indonesia ranked fifth with 14.6 million downloads, not far from Russia, ranking fourth with 15.9 million downloads.

India ranks first with 36.9 million downloads (page 13).

Asia Pacific accounts dominate 39% of downloads worldwide and 51% of Google Play purchases

In this regard, the game application accounts for 38% of downloads in the APAC region, but reaches more than 90% of all purchases.

Japan, the United States, South Korea, Germany and Taiwan rank among the countries that recorded spending on the largest gaming applications. This fact is also similar to the ranking based on the countries that invest the most in eSports.
