DENPASAR, KOMPAS.com – The volcanic activity of Gunung Agung located in the Regency of Karangasem, Bali, continues to improve.

The Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) establishes the level of activity of Gunung Agung at level III (Siaga).

In addition PVMBG also recommends communities around Mount Agung, climbers, visitors and tourists to avoid climbing or other activities within a radius of 4 km dangerous area from the top of the mountain .

Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport was closed due to the impact of volcanic ash from the Mount Agung eruption.
