Hasto convinced that the founding family of NU supporting Prabowo will think again

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin, two candidate candidates for the presidency of the national campaign team and vice-presidents, Hasto Kristiyanto, said that the family of the founder of Nahdlatul Ulama, who supported Prabowo Subianto- Sandiaga, would reiterate his position.

Hasto's conviction refers to Prabowo's attitude towards Australia, which has moved his embbady to Israel to Jerusalem.

"They do not know yet that Pak Prabowo is not firm about his attitude towards the embbady in Israel, so after that he could think again," Hasto said. at the Cemara Post on Thursday (29.11.2018).

As is known, Prabowo said he respected the sovereignty of Australia, who decided to transfer his Israeli embbady from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Hasto also mentioned the incident of Sandiaga who jumped on the grave of the founder of NU. If the founding family of the NU was aware of the incident, Hasto was confident that they would think again to support Prabowo-Sandi.

"Especially after seeing Pak Sandiaga Uno at the grave and unable to respect the graves of NU figures, they will think again," said Hasto.

Hasto himself is convinced that NU executives still prefer Jokowi-Ma's ruf.

Support of the founding family of NU

Previously, serial number 02 Prabowo Subianto and vice-presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno met family members of the descendants of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at the Prabowo residence, Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, on Wednesday ( 28.11.2018).

At the meeting, the founding family of the NU expressed support for the Prabowo-Sandiaga couple in the upcoming 2019 presidential election.

"Representatives of the founders of the NU (dzurriyah) are here to exchange ideas, support each other, understand each other," said KH Irfan Yusuf, familiarly referred to as Gus Irfan, when he gave information after the meeting.

Gus Irfan is the grandson of the founder of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) KH Hasyim Asyari. Gus Irfan's father, KH Yusuf Hasyim, was one of the NU's characters and was the guardian of the Tebuireng Islamic Residential School in Jombang, in East Java.

Besides Gus Irfan, KH. Hasyim Karim or Gus Aying, KH. Fahmi Amrullah or Gus Fahmi and KH A. Baidhowi or Gus Dhowi. The three are the grandchildren of KH Hasyim Asyari.

There was also KH Hasib Wahab, son of one of the founders of NU KH Wahab Hasbulloh and Gus Billy, great-grandson of KH Bisri Syansuri.
