Holding discriminatory evidence of KPU, report Yusril to Bareskrim

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – President of the Red Crescent Party (UN) Yusril Ihza Mahendra plans to report the Commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) to the criminal investigation of police (Bareskrim). Therefore, the KPU is considered unfair and discriminatory in elections 2019 .

Previously, the KPU rejected the registration of candidates for parliamentary elections in 24 constituencies because the files were submitted longer than the prescribed time.

Yusril did not specify Commissioner KPU to report. He only claimed to have evidence. In addition, other senior political party officials are willing to testify

"because of discriminatory treatment.There is such fraud that we must report the police action of the KPU," Yusril said.

Failure of initial mediation with KPU

In mediation with the UN, only two KPU commissioners participated, namely Ilham Saputra and Evi Novida Ginting. The mediation lasted only half an hour.

According to Yusril, the presence of the two KPU commissioners can not appear and can not make a decision on behalf of the KPU. Except, if the President of KPU Arief Budiman gives power of attorney to two Ilham and Evi as representatives of KPU
