In the Meikarta case, the KPK calls members of the BPRI PDPR-RP faction of the Bekasi Regency

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (KPK) has summoned a Dafa member Sulaeman Sulaeman from Bekasi Regency in connection with alleged corruption related to the licensing process of the Meikarta Development Project on Thursday (11/15/2018).

Sulaeman is a member of the PDI-P faction.

"The person concerned will be questioned as a witness for the suspect of the SMN (head of MBJ Sahat's fire department," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah once confirmed.

In this case, the KPK appointed Bekasi Regent Neneng Hbadanah Yasin and Lippo group leader Billy Sindoro as a suspect.

In addition, KPK has appointed Neneng Rahmi, head of the PUPR space planning office in Bekasi, as a suspect.

Later, the KPK also appointed three department heads as suspects. Each of them is the head of the Bekasi Public Works and Planning Bureau, Jamaluddin, and the head of the MBJ Sahat fire department in Nahor.

The five people allegedly accepted bribes related to the Meikarta Construction Project License Project in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java.

The corruption is given by the managers of the property developer Lippo Group.

Neneng and the heads of service were promised Rs 13 billion by the developer Lippo group. Until now, according to the KPK, there has only been a surrender of 7 billion rupees.
