JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Guitarist Franco Wellyjat Medjaya Kusumah aka Enda said he was one of those who disagreed when his colleague from the Ungu group, Pasha, ran for the position of deputy mayor of Palu.

"If I'm an Enda Ungu, I say I do not agree," said Enda in an interview in the Kebon Sirih area in central Jakarta on Friday (10/19/2018).

Enda was not in agreement because she feared that Ungu would not walk even while dispersing. Because, says Enda, the singer's position in a band is very vital.

"Because he's going to lose the singer." But Pasha said, "No, I do not want to go out of Ungu," said Enda.

Pasha, who bears the full name of Sigit Purnomo Syamsuddin Said, also became deputy mayor of Palu and badumed the task of the state. Enda admitted that she was currently supporting her partner.

Regarding Pasha's decision to resign from his post when he was unable to solve the problems that were raging in the city of Palu after the earthquake and tsunami accompanied by the factions on September 28, 2018, Enda has also confirmed that he and the other Purple staff members would continue to support Pasha regardless of his decision.

"If the public feels that he's not worthy, he's ready to step down," said Enda, mimicking Pasha's statement.

"But as a brother, you will also go to the bottomless pit, whatever Pasha decides, we will support everything, so we are very confident that Pacha will stay there (as mayor). Palu's deputy), wants Pasha, we will save him completely, "continued Enda.

"Every decision that comes out of his mouth will be taken care of because every decision that was born has been carefully thought through – that's his type," added Enda.
