JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Sodik Mudjahid, head of debates of the National Winning Organization (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, said his party was still guided by the results of internal investigations.

It has been revealed that this responds to the findings of a recent investigation by Judge Denny JA of the Indonesiaian Survey Circle (LSI), which was released Tuesday (27/11/2018).

Sodik said the results of their investigation had already shed light on the vote for the Prabowo-Sandi couple in the 2019 elections.

"We are guided by what we have, we have almost exceeded and over time we will exceed," Sodik said at a meeting at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (27.11.2018) .

Earlier, Justice Lenny Denny badyzed the perceptions of current economic conditions affecting public support for both presidential and vice-presidential couples in the 2019 presidential election.

According to the results of a recent LSI survey, no less than 70.3% of the 1,200 respondents felt that Indonesia 's economic situation was moderate and good. At the same time, 24.7% said the economic situation in Indonesia was bad.

64.4% of people who perceive favorable and favorable economic conditions said they support Jokowi-Maruf. The remaining 20.5% chose the Prabowo-Sandiaga pair.

While 63.9% of those surveyed who thought Indonesia's economic situation was bad, chose the Prabowo-Sandiaga couple. Only 25.5% chose the Jokowi-Maruf pair.

Sodik nevertheless invited other institutions to conduct investigations. The member of the Indonesian House of Representatives only asked the survey institutions to conduct their studies in a scientific way.

"We want the pollsters to be professional, objective and scientific, not that they are looking for scientific spaces to satisfy their payers," he said.

Data from the LSI Denny JA survey were collected from November 10 to 19, 2018. The method used was a multi-stage random sampling.

There were 1,200 people interviewed and were citizens entitled to vote.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with the help of a questionnaire. LSI said the margin of error of the survey was 2.9%.

In addition to investigations, Judge Lenny Denny also conducted qualitative research with group-disaggregation methods, media badysis, and independent interviews to enrich the badysis of the investigation. This survey was funded by LSI Denny JA.
