TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – National Media Survey (Median) said that the two pairs of presidential candidates had received support from different faith-based mbad organizations. In the publication of their latest sigi, Median executive director Rico Marbun said that presidential candidate Joko Widodo, aka Jokowi, excelled among voters in Nahdlatul Ulama.

"While Prabowo Subianto is supported by members of Muhammadiyah," said Rico at the Presidential Election Conference: Can Jokowi Run Fast and Prabowo Chase in Cikini, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 .
In a survey conducted from November 4 to 16, 2018, Rico described up to 47.6 percent of UN voters supporting Jokowi's presidential candidate. While 36.4% chose Prabowo. The remaining 16% did not express their support. The difference between NU voters for Jokowi and Prabowo was 11.2%.
This condition is inversely proportional to the support of Muhammadiyah circles' voting rights holders. Nearly 62% of respondents from mbad organizations said they would vote for Prabowo. While the remaining 23% supported Jokowi.
Muhammadiyah respondents who did not declare their support for the presidential candidate represent only 3.7%. The difference between Prabowo and Jokowi supporters is 39%. The bold figures of the percentage of support for one of these candidates indicate the political attitude of the members of a uniform organization.

In addition to the attention of NU and Muhammadiyah, the two candidates also caught the attention of a number of denominational mbad organizations. For example, the Buddhist Unit (Walubi), the Association of Indonesian Churches (PGI) and the Indonesian Christian Assembly (MUKI).
According to the results of the Median survey, the majority of the members of the three organizations voted for Jokowi. That is to say, Jokowi won a landslide victory. As a result, no less than 80% admitted their support to Presidential candidate number 01.
The remaining 20% said they did not choose.
The Median survey was conducted among 1,200 people from all citizens eligible to vote. The survey was conducted using a random selection sampling method. Rico's claims, margin of error their survey institute was plus-minus 2.9% with a 95% confidence level.
