Isak crying over the body burial of Ayu Dewi's mother

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The body of the host's mother, Ayu Dewi, Sekar Dewi Budiono, was buried at the Jeruk Purut Public Cemetery (TPU), in East Cilandak, south of Jakarta, on Thursday 29/11/2018 at 20 WIB hours.

Sekar's body arrived at the TPU Jeruk Purut from the Villa Pejaten Mas Housing funeral home, Pasar Minggu, south Jakarta, accompanied by a family group.

Ayu, who was wearing white clothes, seemed unable to hold back her tears when Sekar's body was put in a hole.

Ayu 's friend, the role artist Luna Maya and the animator Melanie Ricardo, seemed to be on Ayu' s side to calm her down. Many times, they rubbed Ayu's shoulders to stress her.

"Mom … Mom …" Ayu said in a weak voice.

While Ayu's husband, Regi Datau, descended to the grave to bury the body of his in-laws. Regi was heard singing the call to prayer before the grave was hit on the ground.

Representing the family, Regi also spoke a few words to relatives attending the funeral procession.

"After a few weeks, the mother was treated against her illness, Allah SWT called the mother this morning, that her illness would become a cleansing of her sins," said Regi.

"On this occasion, I also represent the extended family of Ayu, imploring your sincerity for the sake of your mother if wrongdoing is requested so that her sincerity opens the door to apology as much as possible," he continued. .

Sekar had already breathed his last breath at the Medistra Hospital in Jakarta at the age of 68. Until now, it is not known why Sekar died because his family was not yet ready to make his official statement.
