Jalan Terjal Persib Rengkuh Title 1 Under 19 League Champion

BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com – The young Persib Bandung team has successfully won the 2018 U19 League title. This title was won with difficulty by Maung Ngora's troops.

The steep road faced Persib at the beginning of the league. In the group stage, Persib joined Bali United, Persebaya Surabaya, Madura United, Barito Putera and Persela Lamongan.

In the first round, Persib won only one win, two draws and two losses in five games played.

"We fought at the start because it was hard to win," said Budiman, Persib U19 coach, Tuesday (11/27/2018).

Persib's wakeup point is produced in the second round. Syafril Lestaluhu and his friends were able to win four wins and one draw.

However, the rise of Persib has not placed Budiman's adopted children at the top of the rankings. Persib is even qualified for the last 8 with the status of one of the top three.

"But in the second round, he started to go up and up, Alhamdulillah in the final, I was able to beat Persija, when his opponents were not only fighting and physical, but also mental," Budiman said.

In the fitting room, Budiman had pointed out that his adoptive children would be in total because the final was a rare moment.

"This is the last time I point out to children, I prove it to you, such occasions will not happen twice," Budiman said.

For this achievement, Persib was rewarded with a cash prize of 300 million rupees. The title is complemented by individual achievements when Persaf captain Syafril Lestaluhu was named best player and Beckham Nugraha Putra stole gold shoes.
