Jokowi inaugurates three power plants in the South Sulawesi region

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, SOUTH SULAWESI – The President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) symbolically ushered three power plants in the South Sulawesi.

The Sidrap Bayu Power Plant (PLTB) has a capacity of 75 MW, the Punagaya Steam Power Plant (PLTU) with a capacity of 2×100 MW and the PLTU plant Ie PIPIP Jeneponto with a capacity of 2×135 MW.

The inauguration took place in the Sidrap PLTB area located in the Lainungan village, Sidenreng Rappang, South Sulawesi, Monday afternoon (27/07/2013). Mr. Jokowi was accompanied by the Minister of Social Affairs, Rini Soemarno, the ESDM Minister, Ignasius Jonan, as well as a number of badociated officials and, of course, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN)

"By saying bismillahi rrahmanirrahim, I run the Bayu power station in Sidrap district for 75 mw, thanks, wbadalamualaikum," said Jokowi at his inauguration

In Sidrap PLTB, 30 wind turbines were installed.
