The democratic politician Ferdinand Hutahaean, for example, thinks that Jokowi uses his authority for personal ends.

Because an infrastructure project usually has a schedule. Infrastructure projects also have financial planning. If everything is accelerated, Ferdinand said that the financial performance of the project would be disrupted.

At the same time, the vice president of the party Gerindra, Fadli Zon, was surprised by President Joko Widodo, who said he wanted to deliberately accelerate the infrastructure for the needs of the presidential election of 2019.

In fact, according to Fadli, the infrastructure built under the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla administration was not an exploit.
