JT 610 aircraft flight attendants' data is different, says Lion Air director

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) found data discrepancies cabin crew flight number JT-610 from Lion Air flight PK-LQP in Karawang waters on 29 October 2018.

In the aircraft manifest data, it is indicated that there is 5 cabin crew or flight attendants in the plane. But in the crew data, there are actually 6 flight attendants. Lion Air did not deny the data differences.

"Indeed, regarding this incident, there is data between the active crew and those recorded in one of the documents of the aircraft," said Lion Air group president Edward Sirait at of a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (28.11.2018).

"But the other documents are actually the same," Edward continued.

Regarding the amount cabin crew different, Edward said the amount is just cabin crew there are actually 6 and not 5. It is composed of 5 flight attendants and one instructor.

But according to Edward, an instructor who took part in the plane was registered as a pbadenger.

By the way, Edward said his party would invest in the data difference.

"Regarding the recommendations that have been submitted to us, I say everything that is said by the Ministry of Transport or by the NTSC," he said.

"We followed and will follow the follow-up related to these recommendations, for example with regard to the culture of safety, we have done it continuously in the environment Lion Air", did he continued.
