Febri said Taufik was in fact missing from KPK investigators' appeals twice. According to him, Taufik was summoned for interrogation on October 25, but the lawyer asked for a reorganization on November 1.
After the KPK investigators sent a second summons for review on November 1, Taufik 's lawyer again requested a change of schedule on November 8. The lawyers estimated that Taufik was going to his constituency.

For this reason, Febri asked the lawyer to coordinate with the KPK investigators to ensure that Taufik's presence was examined as a suspect in the alleged DAK corruption in the Kebumen regency.
According to Febri, Taufik could be present before November 8, at the request of his lawyer.
"So, coordinate with the investigators of their lawyers to show greater cooperation in this judicial process," he said.
Moreover, Taufik's lawyer, Arifin Harahap, said his client could not answer the call as he was traveling to the electoral district during the suspension period of the RDP.
Taufik became a member of the House of Representatives of Electoral District VII of Central Java, which included the regencies of Purbalingga, Banjarnegara and Kebumen. Three PAN politicians have been sitting as representatives of the people for three periods.
Arifin badured that his client would answer KPK investigators' calls on November 8, 2018.
