SERAMBINEWS.COM – Astronomers have just discovered a new comet. According to the Minor Planet Center, the comet was reported for the first time by Don Machholz. He observed the comet visually, first on Wednesday (11/07/2018) or Thursday (11/08/2018).
In addition, two Japanese observers, Shigehisa Fujikawa and Masayuki Iwamoto, also saw the same object at the same time.
The discovery was then followed by astronomers. One of them is Marufin Sudibyo, an Indonesian amateur astronomer.
"At this time, the magnitude of the comet +10, it is now + 8. It seems to be brilliant," said Marufin Wednesday (14.11.2018).

When asked if the comet would pbad near Earth, Marufin said that the space object was far enough away.
"But the perihelion or the trajectory of the nearest sun reaches the orbit of Mekurius." That will be pretty bright if the comet does not break down, "he added.
Marufin also explained that the declination or coordinates of the comet equator were negative.
"It is easily visible from the southern hemisphere, the maximum declination is -19, which means that even in the equatorial region, it can be seen up to 71 degrees. added Marufin.
Although seen from Indonesia, Marufin explained that the comet was of the telescopic type. In another sense, the comet can not be observed with the naked eye.

According to Marufin, this comet can be seen only at dawn from 12 to 22 November. After that, we will not see him any more from Indonesia.(National Geographic)
