KOMPAS.com – Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi is optimistic about the eighth edition of the MotoGP circuit at the Assen circuit in the Netherlands.
The circuit of Assen has become one of the areas of friendly competition with Rossi since he has competed at the World Championships.
Since his first MotoGP victory in the Netherlands in 2002, Rossi has almost always won the highest podium at Assen, at least once in two seasons, except in 2010 for not appearing and in 2011-2012 in Ducati uniform.
Last season, Rossi also won the MotoGP race in the Netherlands after a fierce duel with Danilo Petrucci (Pramac Racing).

However, Rossi's victory in the Netherlands last season also became the start of the fasting victory that he experienced, as well as Yamaha.
"My feelings are mixed, on the one hand, it means it's been a long time since Yamaha and I did not win the last race, so we have to work hard," Rossi told BolaSport.com from Official website of the Yamaha Movistar team.
"However, on the other hand, I feel so happy because Assen is a fantastic track," he said.
Meanwhile, the pilot dubbed The Doctor was also in a positive trend after scoring three podium results.

In the three previous series, Rossi still finishes in third place despite a difficulty to compete for first place.
Regardless of the series of positive results he's got and the "compatibility" that he had with Circuit Assen, Rossi did not want to feel jemawa.
"Usually we are very competitive on the TT Circuit (Assen), but we have to look at the conditions and the situation because you never know what could happen," said Rossi.
The eighth edition of the MotoGP series will take place at the Assen circuit this weekend from June 29 to July 1, 2018. (Ardhianto Wahyu)
