Loew envisions its future after the disappearance of Germany

Kazan – Germany was devastated during the 2018 World Cup. The disappointing result left coach Joachim Loew in consideration of his position.

The defending champion just has to swallow the bitter pill. The 0-2 defeat to South Korea, combined with Sweden's 3-0 victory over Mexico, allowed Germany to be eliminated in the group stages.

It was the first time that Germany was eliminated in the World Cup group stage since the introduction of the group format at the 1950 World Cup. The disappointing pace was firmer after that. Die Mannschaft finished third in Group F with three points.

Loew recently extended his contract until 2022. However, after the failure of this 58-year-old coach is reluctant to confirm whether he will still be a German coach or not.

"It's too early for me to answer that question," said Loew the Guardian. "It took us several hours to calm down."

"There is a big disappointment in me I can not imagine that we are going to lose in South Korea I am shocked because we can not handle it It is too early for me to say anything that I am really disappointed."

Loew started attacking Germany since 2006 and managed to present the World Cup in Brazil four years ago. The result in Russia being the first for Loew failed to deliver Germany at least to the semifinals of a major tournament.
