Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Brigadier General Maruli Simanjuntak Appointed Commander President's security force (Danpaspampres). Minister of the Minister for the Coordination of Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan he previously held the post of Kasdam Diponegoro.
The promotion was set out in a letter signed directly by the TNI Commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, by Decree No. Kep / 1240 / XI / 2018 concerning the dismissal and environmental appointment of the TNI.
Previously, Maruli also held the position of Deputy Commander of Paspampres. Maruli became Danpaspampres replacing Major General Suhartono. Suhartono himself was transferred to the position of Commander Maritime Command.
Along with the decree, the commander of the TNI appointed an employee of Major General Harto as commander of the Army Strategic Command Reserve (Pangkostrad).
Besar Harto is known to replace the post of General Andika Perkasa, currently appointed as Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD).
Besar Harto previously served as Danpuspenerbad in 2017 and as commander of the commander of the Siliwangi Military Region.
