Zainut also denied that what Tengku had disclosed was based on the results of studies conducted by MUI's expert staff or by the Legislation and Legislation Commission (Kumdang).

Tengku, he said, mentioned in the MUI study that the PKS Bill contained an article on the government's obligation to provide contraceptives to couples of teenagers and young people who wanted have bad.

Zainut said, the MUI had serious attention to the PKS bill. In this respect, the MUI entrusts the Kumdang Commission and the Fatwa Commission with the task of evaluating and deepening the PKS bill.

The results of the MUI study, he added, would be recommended to the RDP and the government, to use as input and improvement so that the PKS bill does not conflict with the religious values ​​and Pancasila.

Zainut said the MUI called on all parties, especially religious leaders, the public and political elites, to exercise greater wisdom, to be more cautious in expressing their views. opinions.

Caution, he said, would avoid false news that could create conflict and noise in the community.
