Merdeka.com – The National Council of Party Party Mandate will reposition Taufik Kurniawan as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. The secretary general of the PDP, PAN Eddy Soeparno, however, hesitated to speculate on the emergence of the name Hanafi Rais replacing Taufik.

"I do not know where the speculation is (Hanafi Rais as vice-president of the House of Representatives) and of course I can not confirm it because we have not yet conducted the technical discussions", said Eddy after witnessing Ulama Command's declaration to win Prabowo / Pbadword Jakarta, Sunday (4/11). As reported by Antara.

According to Eddy, decisions will be made collectively at the NAP PDP level. According to him, Taufik's replacement, who will serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives, is a senior official who has proven himself in the Legislative Assembly and is committed to the parties and the coalition.

"PAN needs to carry out an internal process to determine the replacement of Taufik and the results of the details will be communicated to the public once the process is completed," he said.

Regarding the replacement of Taufik's name as Vice-President of the House of Representatives, he said that there were 48 names of PAN executives who are currently members of the RDP. The repositioning is waiting for DPP PAN president Zulkifli Hasan to return to Indonesia because he is still abroad.

"The PAN president will visit Indonesia on Tuesday (6/11), after which we will hold a more technical internal meeting to get the best results," he said.

PAN also officially disabled Taufik Kurniawan as deputy general president after the KPK arrested him as a suspect in an alleged criminal offense Corruption related to DAK for Kebumen Regency.

"First, we have replaced Taufik as vice president of the DPP PAN, and after that we will immediately reposition Taufik from the leadership of the RDP party," he said.

He underlined the PAN's commitment to its executives who held public positions, particularly in the Legislative Assembly, and were subject to prosecution. In addition, after being declared suspect and detained, his party would reposition itself. [noe]
