Puan Maharani did not attend the PDI-P national working meeting

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The PDP-PD PDP chairman for politics and security was inactive, Puan Maharani, did not attend the PDI-P IV (Rakernas) national working meeting.

The fourth national working meeting was held at the PDP-PDI-P office in Menteng, Jakarta, Wednesday (06/19/2019). The national working meeting was held to prepare the PDI-P V congress in Bali next August.

PDI-P Secretary General, Ahmad Basarah, said that Puan was unable to attend the meeting due to his duties as Minister for the Coordination of Human Development and Culture (Minister of coordination of the PMK).

"There is a duty of the Minister of State Coordination for PMK," Basarah said in a brief message on Wednesday night (19/06/2019).

The PDI-P held the fourth national working meeting to prepare for the implementation of the Vth Congress in Bali next August.

Pramono Anung, a PDI-P politician, said that at the PDI-P V Congress, he was planning to pick a new position for the party.

He said the new position was that of the daily presidents and vice-presidents of the party.

The party convention at PDI-P was supposed to be a way of deciding the leadership of the party. It's like Megawati Soekarnoputri, who has been confirmed PDI-P general president for the period 2015-2020 at the IV Congress in Bali.
