JawaPos.com – Representative of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Jakarta Raya, appreciates the efforts of the Provincial Government of Jakarta to conduct short-term corrective actions related to the development from the Tanah Abang area to central Jakarta. Where, the governor of Jakarta Anies Baswedan and his deputy began to make a new planning on the street vendors Jatibaru.

The head of the Ombudsman's Representative Office, Teguh P Nugroho, said that five corrective measures must be taken by the provincial government of DKI Jakarta. However, Jakarta Capital City has only two corrective actions.

He mentioned the first socialization of the planned rejuvenation of Pasar Blok G, April 20 and May 7, 2018. Second, the city administration conducted data collection and validation of street vendors on Jalan Jatibaru on May 25, 2018.

"So, two of the five remedies we have proposed have been implemented by the municipal government, we appreciate that," Teguh said in Building Ombudsman RI, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/7).

According to him, two corrective actions that have been implemented by the provincial government of DKI are a good start. For the rest of the corrective action that has not been done, Teguh mentioned is a long-term corrective action so that it should not be immediately implemented immediately.

"The provincial government update was auctioned at sky bridge, there is funding for the budget allocation for the PD Sarana Jaya bridge, and there is a BKPRD space permit" he explained.

Previously known, the RI Ombudsman found four cases of alleged maladministration by the provincial government of DKI Jakarta, related to the arrangement of street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Jatibaru Raya, Tanah Abang. Among them are incompetent, unlawful acts, procedural errors and the negligence of legal obligations.
