Registration date, vehicle tax withdrawn final from June 27th to August 31st

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The provincial government of DKI Jakarta releases vehicle tax fines within a certain time.

Residents of DKI Jakarta can pay their taxes without having to pay a fine.

"The abolition of the administrative sanctions was implemented from June 27 to August 31. So it's more than 68 days," said Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan, at the hotel's DKI city Jakarta Thursday 28/06/2018.

Exemption from this fine to celebrate the 491st anniversary of DKI Jakarta.

Anies said, up to now, thousands of motor vehicles crossing the roads in Jakarta.

He warned, the roads used by runners can be treated well with public taxes.

Anies hopes that citizens of Jakarta will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to pay their taxes on vehicles.

"We hope the people of DKI Jakarta will be able to use this program to fulfill their obligations, so the fine will be abolished," said Anies.

Anies has recognized the potential that can be obtained from the tax penalty can be great.

The average community could be two years late. The fines to be paid reached 48%.

However, tax penalties are not projected as local revenue sources.

The exemption from tax penalties was supposed to increase the revenue from the vehicle tax.
