Rotation of TNI, Luhut's daughter becomes commander of Paspampres

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The commander of the TNI, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, ensures the rotation of a number of senior officers (Pati) within the TNI.

TNI Brigadier General Maruli Simanjuntak, formerly Kasdam Diponegoro, was appointed Commander of the Presidential Security Force (Danpaspampres).

The son-in-law of the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, has replaced the post of Major General (Mar) Suhartono.

This change of position is indicated in the decree of the commander of the TNI, number Kep / 1240 / XI / 2018, signed by Hadi on Thursday (29/11/2018).

For the regional military command post of Kason Diponegoro left by Maruli, it was filled by the Brigadier of the Interior, Teguh Muji Angkasa.

Major-General Suhartono was transferred to the position of Dankormar, previously occupied by Major-General Bambang Suswantono.

With this rotation, the Pangkostrad post is currently occupied by Major General Harto, former commander of Siliwangi III.

He replaced Major General Andika Perkasa, promoted to Chief of Staff of the Army. Meanwhile, Major General Tri Soewandono is currently the military commander of Siliwangi III.

In the TNI commander 's decree, it was stated that this rotation had taken place through the Wanjakti high – level board process as of 21 September 2018.
