Samsung Spends 581 Billion Rupees On Niantic For Exclusive Games | INews Portal

SEOUL, iNews.id – According to sources, Samsung will work with the developers of Pokemon Go to offer games exclusively on Galaxy phones. However, Niantic has special requirements.

Samsung intends to collaborate with Niantic to provide exclusive games to Galaxy smartphones. However, the game developer Pokemon Go apparently refused to collaborate with Samsung without a large investment.

The Niantic requirement seems to have been accepted by Samsung. Therefore, the South Korean electronics giant has agreed to invest a total of 40 million US dollars, about 581 billion rand in Niantic, as indicated Ubergizmo Tuesday (28/11/2018).

According to the report, the agreement between Inquirer and Samsung will involve the production of preloaded games on the Galaxy smartphone. Both companies focused on the Harry Potter game, which will allow users to use the S Pen Note 9 as a magic wand.

Unfortunately, it is not clear whether the game will be a separate version of the Harry Potter game, namely the Unite Wizard that was created by Niantic or completely separate for the Galaxy smartphone.

Besides Harry Potter, the game Ingress was also included in the agreement. We think that Niantic does not bring Pokemon Go specifically for the Galaxy because it protects the franchise very well and wants to keep it.

Samsung presents for the Galaxy an exclusive game likely to differentiate it more from its competitors. Recently, the electronics giant has tried a similar approach by collaborating with Epic Games for the launch of Fortnite on Android.
