Merdeka.com – Seven policemen survived the Armed Crime Group (KKB) internal quarrels in the Torere district of Puncak Jaya, Papua, Wednesday (27/6) yesterday. It is the election security forces in Papua that distribute the logistics with Torere Obadiah Froaro District Chief.

"Seven members of the police have survived, three of whom have been reported missing," Police Inspector General Boy Rafli told Antara at Jayapura on Thursday (28/6).
Inspector General Boy Rafli said that the seven surviving members are already in Dabra police, Mamberamo Raya police zone and will be evacuated to Jayapura with two bodies.
The seven surviving members are Bripka Max Anjonderin, Brigpol Steven Auparay, Bripda Daniel Tambunan, Bripda Firmansah, Brigpol Yusuf Toding, Brigpol Mulyadi and Brigadier Peter Imbiri.
While two members died in the incident that is Ipda Jesayas H. Nusi and Brigpol Sinton Kabarek, both members of Polres Puncak Jaya.
The incident took place when the late Iptu Jesayas Nusi and the late Obadiah Froaro along with eight members joined the governor's electoral security in the regency of Puncak Jaya using two Torere return boats but were suddenly intercepted. [rhm]
