Lyan did not know exactly what caused the death of her husband in the performance of his duties.

"I was just shocked because the trip was healthy, I was suddenly notified (deceased) last night, I already died in Jakarta and I was brought here only morning, "said Lyan.

According to Lyan, Syachrul heard about the crash of the plane while he was in Yogyakarta. Syachrul, at that time, left Lyan alone in Jogja and left for Jakarta on Wednesday (31/10/2018).

"The father left with his friend Jogja because we had business in Jogja, and some of his friends also left Makbadar," said Lyan Kurniawati.

Syachrul had asked permission to leave for Karawang for a humanitarian mission to find a JT 610 Lion Air aircraft.

"He said goodbye and was taken to Jogja airport, I arrived until I got in and out," said Lyan.

At that time, Lyan admitted that it was heavy when her husband asked permission to leave to help search for victims of the accident in Karawang waters, in the west. of Java.

"I had a lot of trouble letting him go.But my husband remained weak, especially for humanity.I already knew his character, so I did not forbid it," said Lyan .

Syachrul left for Jakarta without wearing his diving gear. The diving equipment is at home in Makbadar.

"He just said:" It's okay, even if I only have a crowbar or shovel, the most important thing is that I can help, "Lyan remembered.
