Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government has revised the policy of easing the negative list of investment (DNI).

Finance Ministry Secretary Susiwijono Moegiarso explained that after considering various considerations, the micro, small and medium enterprises and cooperatives (MSME-K) sectors were not excluded from the DNI.

If they are issued by the DNI, the sectors can potentially be entered by foreigners holding 100% or 100% shares of a company.

Please note that prior to this change, there were 54 activity areas from different sectors excluded from the DNI. The business sector, then divided into five groups, namely groups A, B, C, D and E.

For the MSME-K sector, there are groups A and B, with details; Group A includes four areas of activity (such as pickling tubers and cybercafés) and Group B a field of activity (retail mailing or Internet).

"Yesterday, we heard the instructions from the president, we sent them to the annex of our DNI for the proposed five areas of activity.", Explained Mr. Susiwijono at the press conference on the 16th economic policy package, at the Press Center of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Nevertheless, Susiwijono pointed out that, issued or corrected within the DNI, the government would not stop helping small entrepreneurs in the MSME sector, particularly in the area of ​​licensing.

Indeed, the 16 economic policy programs (PKE) will be synergized with the OSS or the online submission system. If before the OSS, the MSME entrepreneurs must submit a business license to the regional government, they can now go online and only to the data collection.

"I do not think it's necessary to debate for long, because the goals are just as good, protecting MSMEs," he said.

At the end of the press conference, Susiwijono said that the government was trying to make PKE 16 the finance minister's regulation on the tax holiday, the presidential regulation on the DNI and the government regulation on the list of results at the end of the press conference. For the moment, the new tax holiday for the PMK is over. While the presidential DNI regulations will be submitted to the president only to be signed next Monday. Similarly, PP DHE is expected to be completed next week.
