Teenager burns at SDN Karawaci 13

TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com – A teenager with the initials RM (19 years old) is burned by pouring kerosene on his body on Wednesday (28/11/2018).

Karawaci police chief, Kompol Abdul Salim, said that a self-immolation had been carried out by RM in the backyard of SDN Karawaci 13, in Tangerang, at 24 hours. WIB.

"He was burned that night, he wanted to go to 24 hours, because it happened at night," said Abdul during his contact. Kompas.comThursday (29/11/2018).

According to the testimony of a number of witnesses, including RM's parents, the victim Wednesday night accompanied her parents to sell catfish pecel. However, for no apparent reason, RM said goodbye on his return.

RM's colleague, Ade, who pbaded SDN Karawaci 13, heard a shout. By checking the sound source, Ade saw the RM burn.

Ade called local residents to ask for help. The police who received the report then went to the scene.

Police found an empty kerosene container and a gasoline lighter on site.

Apparently, RM poured his body in kerosene and burned himself with a match.

The police are always looking for reasons to burn themselves. Currently, RM is being treated at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta, for intensive care.

"If the reason is, we are still investigating.The victims are still in the hospital," said Abdul.
