IOTOMOTIF.com – Land Rover introduces the fourth generation of Range Rover's flagship product in 2012. It will take a few more years before a replacement comes. But before that happens, do a little refreshing on the luxury SUV with an increase of some parts. And in 2019, it will be available with a new diesel engine.
Replaced the old 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine with a more powerful version of the twin turbo. Currently proposed with 246 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, the new version will produce 271 hp and 625 hp of torque. More powerful 19 hp and 25 Nm of torque than the old version with a turbo.
More powerful, it features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a power of 335 hp and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Like the lower version, the Range Rover Sport, the flagship model of 2019 will be available with adaptive cruise control features with stop and power steering features.
"The Range Rover is originally a luxury SUV." Said Nick Collins. "The new version guarantees customers the comfort they want, with more choice, comfort, practicality and safety."
The new Range Rover is sold in the UK for £ 64,084 or the equivalent of Rp 1, 2 bln. For the moment, there is no information yet on whether the product will be offered outside of the UK.
