JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Metropolitan Police Public Relations Officer, Argo Yuwono, said, following the results of the investigation, he found the powder that remained in the hands of Depok police officers, Bripka Matheus.
Matheus died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head in the Mutiara TPU Cemetery area, Pancoran Mas, Depok, West Java, Monday (12/31/2018).
"It was not possible to deduce the cause of the death of the victim, pending the laboratory.However, clues were found on the ground, the right hand (Matheus) has gunpowder", Argo told the Metro Jaya regional police headquarters on Wednesday (01/02/2018).

Not far from Matheus' body, the police also found a gun coming out of the holster.
The results of the investigation also revealed the fact that the weapon had been fired, attached to Matheus' head.
However, Argo could not confirm if the weapon belonged to Matheus
Argo also did not want to mention any indication of suicide when Matheus died.

However, the police found the evidence of the victim at the location, such as a wallet, an identity card and the identity of the police members.
The police also questioned seven witnesses to discover the mystery of Bripka Matheus' death.
Seven witnesses interviewed were residents of the place where the victim was found and his neighbor. Before his death, Matheus sent a short message to one of his friends. The message contained Matheus' apology to his friend.
