The Prabowo-Sandiaga period had invited Yusril to join her

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, coordinator of the spokesman of the National Winning Organization (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, said his party had had time to contact Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

BPN has estimated that Yusril could support the Prabowo-Sandiaga couple in the 2019 presidential election.

"Communication needs to be open with all potential parties.However, all decisions and reasons for making a support decision will of course depend on the individual, including Pak Yusril," Dahnil said during his contact on Tuesday. (6/11/2018).

Yusril was the legal advisor to the couple Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa in the 2014 presidential election.

Yusril has also often criticized President Joko Widodo's government policy. Later, Yusril became legal counsel for Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) against the government.

However, Dahnil did not know why Yusril preferred to stay near Joko Widodo-Ma's camp.

"I do not know that reason," Dahnil said.

Nevertheless, said Dahnil, he respected Yusril's decision to become the lawyer of the couple Joko Widodo-Ma 'Amin ruf in the 2019 presidential election.

In fact, he felt that choosing to become a lawyer for the Jokowi-Ma & rt Amin pair was a good decision for Yusril.

"We respect Pak Yusril's personal decision, I think this decision is good and good for Mr. Yusril, and we congratulate Mr. Yusril," he said.

Yusril has accepted the offer to become a lawyer of Joko Widodo-Ma's partner Amin Ruf. Yusril said that he had been invited by Erick Thohir, chairman of the Jokowi-Ma's national campaign team.

According to Yusril, the offer to become a lawyer for Jokowi-Ma's ruf was made a long time ago.

However, he only responded to the request when he met Erick Thohir at the Mulia Hotel in Jakarta on Sunday (11/04/2018).

"We talked and Mr. Erick asked me if I wanted to be lawyer"Mr Jokowi – Mr Kiiai Ma 'ruf Amin in his position as Vice President," Yusril said in a statement written Monday (11/05/2018).

"So I told Mr. Erick, after a long discussion with me, I finally decided to accept and become lawyerboth, "added Yusril.
