The wife of the former secretary of the MA, Nurhadi, did not answer KPK's call

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Wife of the former secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) Nurhahadi AbdurrachmanTin Zuraida was missing from the investigator's call Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (KPK).

Tin was to be questioned as a witness to the alleged bribery case of PT President Paramount Enterprise Internasional, Eddy Sindoro.

"Witness Tin Zuraida was not present without information," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said Friday (11/2) at the KPK building in Jakarta.

Febri said that he did not know when Tin would be called back to be interviewed as a witness. According to him, calling someone as a witness depends on the needs of the KPK investigators.

Tin is currently a member of the expert staff of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB).

As an expert staff, Tin is appointed for political and legal issues. Two years ago, tin often made the headlines. He can not be dissociated from the dispute over the alleged corruption case in the Central District Court of Jakarta, which dragged her husband, Nurhadi.

Tin and Nurhadi also went to the KPK several times to meet the investigators, although they were quieter at the request of the media team.

In addition, KPK investigators also searched the houses of Tin and Nurhadi in Hangzhou, South Jakarta, for alleged corruption cases. During the search, Tin allegedly tore up a number of documents and threw them into the toilet. The KPK also confiscated Rs 1.7 billion.

In that case, KPK had badigned Eddy as a corruption suspect to the former registrar of Jakarta Central District Court, Edy Nasution, at the end of 2016. Eddy allegedly gave Edy Nasution money related to the management of an examination (PK).

Later, it was discovered that Eddy had been abroad before being declared a suspect by investigators of anti-corruption institutions. During the two years that have disappeared, Eddy has often moved to countries ranging from Malaysia to Singapore through Thailand and Myanmar.

As part of this investigation procedure, the KPK also suspected Nurhahadi Abdurrachman of being involved in this alleged corruption case.

Nurhadi claimed to have known Eddy closely since he was in high school. Nurhadi also went to the KPK building several times to undergo an examination. (fra / wis)
