TRIBUNJATENG.COM, TEGAL– PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (KAI) will launch a new train with a circular route connecting the cities of Central Java and DIY on December 1st.

The train, called Joglosemarkerto, offers a route Purwokerto-Tegal-Semarang-Solo-Jogja-Purwokerto, on the way in the opposite direction of the needles of a clock.

Joglosemarkerto train uses a series of executive and economic clbades.

For executives, there are two wagons with a capacity of 100 or 50 seats per car.

While the economy train series has seven cars with a capacity of 560 seats or 80 seats for their wagons.

For fares, the executive clbades start at Rp 40,000 – Rp 390,000. While the economy starts from Rs 30,000 to Rs 260,000. The price depends on the distance traveled.

"However, for those traveling with the Joglosemarkerto train between December 2011 and 1-13, KAI is offering a 10% discount," he said.

Tickets can be ordered via external channels, by selling train tickets or via the KAI Access application from the mobile.

Operated by Joglosemarkerto, the Jaka Tingkir railway line has been modified. She was originally Purwosari (Solo) – Jakarta Pasarsenen, becoming Lempuyangan (Yogyakarta) -Pasarsenen PP.
