JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The international law firm Ribbeck Law Chartered has declared its willingness to badist the families of the victims of the PK-LQP registration of the Lion Air JT 610 aircraft to take legal action against The Boeing Company in Chicago, in the USA.

According to Ribbeck, each pbadenger can get a compensation of 5 to 10 million US dollars from The Boeing. He hopes that the whole family of victims will be able to join forces to sue the company.
The lawsuit was brought due to alleged negligence on the part of the Boeing Company and manufacturing defects in the aircraft. This was the direct cause of the accident.
"There is no need to doubt, there is nothing to pay out of pocket," Ribbeck said.

"We are more focused on filing a complaint because of alleged production defects in the aircraft and not warning the pilot of the new system," he continued.
Earlier, one of the families of the victims of the JT 610 Lion Air on behalf of Dr. Rio Nanda Pratama sued the Boeing company as a builder of Boeing 737 MAX 8.
The lawsuit was filed by law firms Colson Hicks Eidson and Bartlett Chen LLC.

The Lion Air JT 610 aircraft taking the Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang road crashed in Tanjung Karawang, West Java, on October 29, 2018.
The plane crashed shortly after taking off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten. Originally, the plane landed at Pangkal Pinang at 07:20 WIB.
The plane was carrying 189 people, including 178 adult pbadengers, 1 child, 2 babies and 8 flight crew members.
