The opening of the Sragen-Ngawi toll road, which is the third stage of the overall Solo-Ngawi toll road operation, will reduce the commuting time by 50%.

Overall, the 90.43 km Solo-Ngawi toll road is equipped with five toll gates (GT), namely GT Colomadu, GT Ngemplak, GT Karanganyar, GT Sragen and GT Ngawi.
Three other GTs will then open in early 2019, namely GT Adi Soemarmo Airport, GT Gondangrejo (Purwodadi Access Directorate) and East Sragen GT (Mantingan).
