JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The non-subsidized Executive Vice President of the Loans Division, PT BTN or National Savings Bank (Persero) Tbk Suryanti Agustinar, revealed that the demand for mortgages at the end of 2018 was increasing.
Although the seven-day BI compensation rate rose to 6% on November 15, 2018, applying for a mortgage does not prevent consumers from applying for a mortgage.
"The promotional interest of BTN KPR does not change before the end of the year due to the increase in the BI rate. The demand for BTN KPR towards the end of the year is increasing," said Yanti, nickname from Suryanti, Kompas.comTuesday (27/11/2018).

He explained that the subsidized and unsubsidized mortgage sector has seen an increase in demand for mortgages.
For subsidized mortgages, the bid increases by 30%, while the demand for unsubsidized home loans increases by 10 to 15%.
According to Yanti, the sharp increase in demand for subsidized mortgages is due to the tight contractual deadline for housing ownership under the Differential Interest Subsidy (SSB) program.
This SSB program will expire on December 7, 2018.
In addition, there is also a Housing Financing Liquidity Program (FLPP) which will expire on December 21, 2018.
"Subsidized mortgage loans are very high because of the continuation of the contract term for home grant programs for the interest rate differential subsidies by December 7, while than FLPP on December 21st, "concluded Yanti.
