SERAMBINEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The residents of Padang Pariaman, in western Sumatra, were shocked by the discovery of an eight meter long serpent on Saturday morning (11/24/2018).
The video capture of this type of huge size python is viral on social media.
It was known that the video originally downloaded Ronal Efendi Coto's Facebook account on Sunday (25/11/2018).
It is known that the snake was discovered by locals over Batu Cincang Waterfall, Pucuang Anam, Nagaru Tandikek Selatan, Patamuan District, Padang Pariaman.
Quoting the Batam Tribune, the python snake was discovered by chance by locals who wanted to clean the shrubs to find fish on the banks of the river.
The resident known as Tan Galuang claimed that he had been electrocuted when he was holding the snake's body.
At first he thought that he was keeping a diary.
He then called other residents to take the snake out of its nest.
In the video, five people tried to extract the python from its nest.
Residents estimate that the python weighs about 100 kilograms and has a body diameter of 25 centimeters.
