BEIJING – Vivo, a mobile phone manufacturer from China, today announced its latest technology, a 3D sensor system with a 300ribu sensor point. This latest technology is 10 times more than Apple's face identification in the iPhone X.

The latest Vivo technology will be installed on the front of the phone just next to the front camera that will operate by sending light and counting the "flying time" (TOF) needed for the light to reflect the sensor. The term for this type of technology is "structured light".

Other smart phone manufacturers like Oppo have also planned, but there is no certainty that explains about it.

Vivo's demonstration of its TOF 3D sensor at MWC Shanghai shows that they have become the first Android producers to compete against Apple's Face ID.

"By combining 3D TOF technology with artificial intelligence, we will continue to explore new possibilities for a better future," said Alex Feng, executive director of Vivo Disitat. The rod (6/27/2018).

One of the ideas that Vivo imagines is to do a body scan of a person and then be informed of artificial intelligence (AI). Then, through the whole body scan, it is possible to virtually try clothes
