BEIJING, iNews.id – Smartphone manufacturers are making mobile phones with a notch above the screen. Vivo, one of the smartphone makers, seems to change direction.
Vivo has hit the global smartphone industry by launching a fingerprint sensor on the screen. Today, the Chinese smartphone maker wants something different, which is to apply the back screen on Vivo Nex 2.
In reality, the use of two screens is not new. Previously, there had been Meizu who had tried with Pro 7 and the sub-brand of ZTE Nubia had also done the same thing.
On Nubia and Meizu Pro 7, the back screen is only used to make selfies with a high quality main camera at the back, as quoted in Slash Gears, Tuesday (11/27/2018).
The second screen on the back depends in fact on the application. In fact, the screen can also be used for normal smartphone operations.
Vivo may have decided to implement a more practical and safer design because it will not involve moving components. However, the cell phone will be much faster to "thirsty" because it has two screens.
