The 5.1 magnitude of the earthquake shook Yogyakarta. The Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) informed us that the earthquake had no tsunami potential.
According to the information provided by the BMKG, Friday (30/11/2018), the earthquake occurred around 03.42 WIB. The quake was located 122 km southwest of Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta.
"122 km west of Daya Kulon Progo-DIY," explained BMKG.
The coordinates of the earthquake are at 8.84 south latitude and 109.74 east longitude. The depth of the earthquake is 18 km below the sea.
Not yet known the impact of the earthquake. Including there were victims because of this earthquake or not.
