Zulkifli Nurdin, Zumi Zola's father passed away

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Jambi governor, Zulkifli Nurdin, reportedly died Wednesday at Pondok Indah Hospital in South Jakarta (28/11/2018). Zulkifli, who was the father of the inactive governor, Jambi, Zumi Zola, died of illness.

"That's right, exhale for the last time around 8 am," said Zumi Zola's lawyer, Mr. Farizi, once confirmed Wednesday night.

According to Farizi, on Wednesday afternoon, Zumi asked the jury to visit her father, who was in critical condition. At present, Zumi is still accused in the court of corruption.

Zulkifli was born on March 28, 1948 in Tanjung Jabung Timur in Muara Sabak. Zulkifli is a former governor of Jambi.

Before serving as governor for the period 2005-2010, he served in 1999-2005, before resigning from his governorship for a second term.
