LONDON – An infinity pool on the roof that is planned for London is not for the sensitive souls.

Designers say the 55-story building, named Infinity London, would be the only building in the world to incorporate a 360-degree infinity pool.

The 600,000 liter pool will be made of cast acrylic and its sides and floors will be transparent so that people inside the building can see the swimmers above them.

So, how do you get into such a pristine pool? Using a spiral staircase that turns and goes up in the water.

"The swimmers will access the pool by a spiral staircase turning based on the door of a submarine, coming out of the bottom of the pool when someone wants to get in or out," said Compass Pools in a Press release.

Construction could begin as early as 2020.
