Search for inflatable eggs is the legendary Easter-themed quest in Fortnite Season 6, which will only be available for one week.
If you can find enough of these striped eggs hidden on the island, you’ll be able to unlock a new harvesting tool, named the Tactical Quaxes.
This quest is also split into five different stages which will all reward you with XP that will help you unlock new Battle Pass skins.

Explanation of inflatable egg locations in Fortnite
Inflatable eggs can be found on the Fortnite map. When looking for them, you’ll want to stay away from any landmarks or named places; instead focusing on the fields and hills that lie between these areas.
Fortunately, the inflatable eggs have fixed locations, which means you can play as many matches as you want and still find a group of eggs in one place. This makes the legendary quest “ Forage Bouncy Eggs Hidden Around the Island ” quite easy to complete.
Here are some of the inflatable egg locations we found:
Each location contains between two and three eggs, which means that if you move quickly, you can complete at least one Legendary Quest step per match.
If you are visiting a location only to find no eggs then they have already been eaten by another player and you will probably want to race for them as they might be close.
How to forge inflatable eggs in Fortnite
Once you’ve found a collection of Bouncy Eggs in Fortnite, you’ll need to forge them to progress the Legendary Quest and luckily there are two ways to get there.
The first is to simply eat the eggs from the ground, which will increase your shield slightly and give you a boost for a short time.
The second method, however, is to collect the inflatable eggs, which will place them in your inventory. This will also count towards the Legendary Quest and allow you to save the Eggs for later in the match.

Finding Bouncy Eggs is a Legendary Quest in Fortnite, which means it’s only available for a week, has five separate parts, and is recommended for a team of four. This means that if you play in teams, you will be sharing the progress you make in this challenge with your teammates.
This legendary quest will be available from Thursday April 1 at 3 p.m. (GMT) until approximately 2:59 p.m. (GMT) Thursday April 8 at 2:59 p.m..
Completing this quest will reward you with XP and a new harvesting tool – Tactical Quaxes.
Here are five stages of the legendary quest “ Forage Bouncy Eggs hidden around the island ”, along with their associated rewards:
- 10 inflatable eggs – 35,000 XP and tactical quaxes
- 20 inflatable eggs – 24,500 XP
- 30 inflatable eggs – 24,500 XP
- 40 inflatable eggs – 24,500 XP
- 50 inflatable eggs – 24,500 XP
