NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida (NBC) – A Florida family is relieved after receiving help from a very unlikely place.

Two parents accidentally locked their baby in their vehicle in a judicial center.

Several minutes passed, as the parents could not board the vehicle and could not afford a locksmith.

Just as the father was about to break the driver's window, Florida inmates working nearby offered assistance.

While the inmates sought to open the door, the mother kept her baby calm and even found the situation a bit funny.

The infant's father sufficiently raised the door so that the inmate could install a hanger and unlock the door.

The parents thanked everyone. The baby was fine.
